ELEVEX 2026 – Konya Elevator and Technologies Fair Opens Its Doors at KTO International Fair Center

The Konya Elevator and Technologies Fair – ELEVEX 2026 officially opened with a ceremony held at the Konya Chamber of Commerce (KTO) International Fair Center. The opening ceremony was attended by Selçuk Öztürk, Chairman of the Board of the Konya Chamber of Commerce (KTO); Yusuf Küçükhemek, Vice Chairman of the Konya Chamber of Industry (KSO); Erdem Naltekin, Chairman of the Konya Branch of the Chamber of Civil Engineers (İMO); Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sercan Doğan, Chairman of the Konya Branch of the Chamber of Mechanical Engineers (MMO); Özhan Şerefli, Chairman of the Board of Vizyon Sectoral Fair Organization, along with numerous guests and industry representatives.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, KTO Chairman Selçuk Öztürk emphasized that Konya is one of Türkiye’s leading industrial centers thanks to its strong manufacturing capacity and export performance. He underlined the significant contribution of trade fairs to the local economy and stated that ELEVEX 2026 serves as a strategic meeting point shaping the future of the elevator industry.
Öztürk highlighted Konya’s prominent position in the sector, noting that the city accounts for a substantial share of Türkiye’s elevator production while maintaining a strong export capacity. He congratulated the sector representatives for their achievements and emphasized that the events organized at the KTO International Fair Center provide valuable opportunities for companies to expand into global markets.
Referring to the international success of the recently held Konya Agriculture Fair, Öztürk stated that it demonstrates the city’s vision for international exhibitions and expressed confidence that ELEVEX 2026 would achieve similar success in the elevator industry.
During his speech, Öztürk also thanked the Konya Metropolitan Municipality for its contributions to the fair infrastructure. He pointed out that the landscaping works around the exhibition center and the transportation investments that will soon become operational will further strengthen the city's exhibition capabilities.
Despite ongoing developments in the global economy, Öztürk stated that Konya continues its production- and export-oriented growth. According to the latest figures, the city's exports increased by more than 30 percent in April, and he emphasized that international trade fairs play an important role in creating commercial opportunities and motivating industrial sectors.
Öztürk called on all stakeholders to work together to make ELEVEX one of Konya’s flagship trade fairs in the coming years and highlighted its potential to become a global meeting point for the elevator industry.
Özhan Şerefli, Chairman of the Board of Vizyon Sectoral Fair Organization, also addressed the audience, stressing the importance of the exhibition for the elevator industry and wishing the event great success.
Showcasing the latest innovations, technological developments, and business collaborations in the elevator sector, ELEVEX 2026 will welcome both domestic and international visitors over the next four days, making a significant contribution to the industry's continued growth and international cooperation.
